Seven Sacred Steps To Success – Part 1

Follow The Author and Finisher of Our Faith

Christ Jesus has laid the ultimate example for us as the most important Biblical Leader we can ever study and pattern our lives after.

STEP 1 – KEEP THE FAITH

Always put God first, even in the face of persecution.

Jesus submitted Himself to fulfill The Father’s Will. He went to the cross KNOWING in advance that his life was destined to be the greatest sacrifice of all time. He did it even though he was so scared that he sweat blood when he was praying before the soldiers, led by Traitor Judas, found him.

Hebrews 12:2 - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame,

and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Whatever God’s assignment is on your life and whoever He has called you to serve:

submit to God’s will because you TRUST GOD

Do it because you fully understand that He already gave you the victory in His/Our Champion, Christ Jesus, before you even started your success journey. Reflect on this:

• ~Christ, the Author and Finisher of Our Faith, Started This Faith Journey As Our Greatest Example. He Left Us His Written Word to Instruct Us. His Word Is Our Road Map.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

• ~He finished it on the Cross.

  John 19:30 - …Jesus… said, IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

• ~It’s called a “success journey” because you’re crossing a sea of adversity and afflictions…

Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: BUT the Lord delivereth him out of them ALL.

• ~…AND you’re destined to get to the other side. No matter what storms come. SO… You ALREADY WON. Just keep the faith and keep going until you get there.

Matthew 8:26 - 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful,

O ye of little FAITH {OR TRUST}?

Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

{… and they got to the other side, even though they woke Jesus up

and fear-fully told him they were all going to die in the sea storm}

• Remember that the end of our Holy Book says that WE ALREADY WON!

Revelation 22:5 …and they shall reign for ever and ever.

• Last week we talked about Samson, and how he is an example of sacrifice due to trusting in God’s plan.
